TOPAZ

Topaz is a precious stone known from antiquity. Ancient Greeks used to believe that topaz gave them strength and good energy. In Europe, during Renaissance, people thought that topaz could even break magic spells!

The impressive about topaz is that it is an optical phenomenon, as it shows different colors in different crystal directions. This gem has an exceptionally wide color range which includes brown, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, pink and purple. Topaz got its name from the Greek word “Topazios” which used to be the name of St. John’s island in Red Sea, an island very difficult to find.
